Terms of Service

Template notice. Replace the bracketed company details and have these terms reviewed by a qualified adviser before you rely on them.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and the estimating tools on it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. This site is operated by Scaffolding Price Estimator Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number [00000000].

2. What the estimator is, and is not

The estimator produces an indicative price range generated from the information you enter and typical UK market rates. It is provided for general guidance only.

  • It is not a quotation and creates no offer capable of acceptance.
  • It is not a substitute for a site survey. Access, ground conditions, structural constraints, listed status and local authority requirements can all move the real price materially.
  • It does not constitute engineering, structural, safety or legal advice.

Always obtain a written quotation from a competent, insured scaffolding contractor before committing to any work or budget.

3. Accuracy of information

We take reasonable care to keep rates and guidance current, but market prices change and regional variation is significant. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete or up to date, and we may change the pricing model at any time without notice.

4. Supplier introductions

Where you opt in, we may pass your enquiry to scaffolding companies operating in your area. Those companies are independent businesses. We are not their agent, we do not supervise their work, and any contract you enter into is directly between you and them.

While we take reasonable steps to check the suppliers we work with, we do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, safety, pricing or conduct of any third party. You remain responsible for verifying their accreditations, insurance and references before engaging them. We are not liable for any loss arising from a contract between you and a supplier.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information when using the estimator and our forms;
  • use the site only for lawful purposes and for genuine enquiries;
  • not interfere with, overload, scrape at scale, or reverse engineer the site or its pricing logic; and
  • not submit anyone else’s personal data without their permission.

6. Intellectual property

The design, text, code and pricing methodology on this site are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other rights. You may view, download and print pages for your own non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, republication or systematic extraction requires our written permission.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the site without notice, and we are not liable if it is unavailable for any period.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • the site and its estimates are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind;
  • we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of anticipated savings; and
  • we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on an estimate, or from dealings with any supplier introduced through the site.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

9. Links to other sites

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for it or for any loss arising from your use of them.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.

12. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
